Mitrogeorgos Traditional Wood-Fired Ovens is a greek, family run company established by Charalambos and Georgios Mitrogeorgos. The latter has been a brick oven artisan for decades and has passed the torch to his son Charalambos, who is one of the few craftsmen left to continue this ancient building technique. 'Meraki' is the greek word that cannot be translated and perfectly describes the dedication and credibility of their work. High quality materials are being combined with traditional techniques to ensure the quality of the ovens the company builds.

From a new logo design to a functional and informative website layout, our work had to combine the traditional part of the business with a new, modern profile and layout. After we made an interview with the client to collect every useful detail, we've learned new information and secrets behind this ancient technique and we focused on creating the right amount of content in order to provide all the details that a potential client will look for on the web.

We created a step by step guide with information on how to bake in traditional wood ovens and we inserted on the website areas with frequently asked questions concerning both building and maintenance service that the business provides. Apart from the project’s photo gallery, we highlighted the family tradition using photos from both the father and the son while they were working. Last but not least we created a new, fresh business identity using the symbol of, what else, fire!

If wood, stone and fresh baked bread were colors, which colors would have they been? We used a color pallete influenced by these primary materials in order to give a warm and vintage look & feel.

We wanted all the information of the service to be accesible from both desktop and mobile, so everything is fluid and adjusts perfect to any preferable device!
